An Android or iOS mobile device installed with the Octopus App for Business works like a typical Octopus reader when a customer places his or her Octopus card* against the NFC area at the back of a merchant’s mobile device. The day-to-day transaction handling has never been so easy!
The newly launched Octopus Mobile POS is designed for retailers and taxi drivers. When paired with a Bluetooth-enabled Android or iOS mobile device with the Octopus App for Business installed, it allows customers or passengers to pay retailers or taxi drivers by tapping their Octopus on the Mobile POS display or scanning the Octopus QR Code on the display.
